Discover Brigs At The Crossing Restaurant

Tucked away at 1225 NW Maynard Rd, this cozy diner-style spot brings a welcoming atmosphere, offering an experience that blends comfort food with a touch of Southern charm. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty breakfast, lunch, or dinner, this place has something that’ll hit the spot.

One of the standout features of Brigs At The Crossing is the diverse menu. You can walk in, and the smells will immediately make you hungry. The variety is impressive-everything from savory omelets to pancakes that melt in your mouth. What really sets this place apart, though, is its commitment to fresh ingredients and a balanced, well-executed menu. The eggs are always perfectly cooked, and the bacon? Crispy but not overly greasy, just how it should be.

The service here is another reason why Brigs At The Crossing is a favorite. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive, offering that kind of service where you feel at home even on your first visit. The family-friendly vibe of the restaurant makes it easy to relax and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed, whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a leisurely brunch.

For those who like to start the day with a strong cup of coffee, Brigs At The Crossing doesn't disappoint. The coffee is robust, and it pairs perfectly with their assortment of baked goods, like cinnamon rolls or a fresh croissant. Their menu doesn't just cater to classic American breakfast items; they also offer some unique spins on traditional dishes. For instance, their "Brigs Benedict" adds a creative twist to the classic eggs Benedict, which makes it a must-try for those craving something different.

If you find yourself there for lunch or dinner, don't miss out on their homemade soups and sandwiches. The chicken salad sandwich is a popular choice and is served with a side of crispy fries that you won’t be able to stop munching on. The dinner menu, while more limited, doesn’t fall short in terms of flavor. Dishes like the meatloaf or chicken fried steak make you feel like you’re enjoying a homemade meal at grandma’s house, with that same warm, comforting feeling.

  • Went here with my girlfriend the other week. This place has got some good breakfast food for sure. Some things that we got were a little bit on the disappointing side though. We got the Beignots, which were delicious, the crunch to them was amazing. We also got the Fancy Home fries, which are also a great starter. As for my main meal. I got the mixed berry pancake (they were perfectly made and the berries weren’t overwhelming) combo, with 2 eggs (sunny side up), they were fine, i got the corned beef hash, which was spectacular, i also got a side of the butter grits. These were not that great to be honest, i finished them but there was basically no flavor to them and they were very runny. My girlfriend on the other hand got the chocolate waffles. Let me start with the staff at Brigs did take care of the meal in a very reasonable manner and were super nice about it, but the waffle just had the most chocolate you could imagine. And I’m a huge chocolate fan, I’ll eat it all. The waffle was just way too overloaded with the chocolate chips and it was just goop at one point. Wasn’t a huge fan. Still I highly recommend this spot if you want a good breakfast spot to go to.

  • I went here with a small group. We waited about 45 minutes for brunch during peak time. The place was packed but clean. Our server was very pleasant and friendly. He was also attentive to our needs as we did have some questions and always kept our drinks full. We enjoyed the blueberry pancakes, Coastal Benedict, Ole, and Double Trouble. I had the club Benedict. The food came out hot and complete in a timely manner. The portion size was very generous while the price was average, making this a good value. The meals also came with fruit and the fruit was very juicy and sweet. I enjoyed the fact that they had so many different variations of Benedict to choose from. I will definitely come back to try others. They also offer several specials that change. That is a nice offering, especially if you want to make this place your regular spot. I was worried about trying the seafood Benedict as I was unfamiliar with the quality. However, it was delicious and fresh.

  • Busy breakfast spot, nice server! Ordered grits with shrimp and veggies was good, and FRESH fruit, but grapes were unclean and not fresh. Pineapple were little brown. Service was great, food needs work.

  • In short: this restaurant has great food and even better servers at a reasonable price. In depth: I visited here with my family on two different Sundays for brunch shortly before closing. Each time, despite being very busy, our food was prepared quickly and tasted fantastic. Both their breakfast and their lunch dishes are high quality. Our drinks were always refilled promptly; the hot cocoa is particularly nice (and includes one refill). The servers are top-notch, and (from overhearing conversations) many know their regulars by name. Each table has a generous supply of condiments and jam for the toast you'll likely get with your meal, and the whole restaurant has a very cozy atmosphere. I highly recommend visiting this place, but be aware that a nearby church lets out around 1:30 pm on Sundays, so they tend to be very busy around that time. If you can, come early. They're worth it.

  • We were sent to this restaurant by a local thrift store in Cary as we were visiting for the day. Oh my goodness! The food was amazing and our server Cameron went above and beyond to make our first visit memorable!! The food was so fresh! I got a Pita wrap and my husband got the BLTC that you had to eat with a knife and fork! Others got a chicken sandwich and a patty melt! We all agreed the drive to Cary was worth it just to eat there!!! Will surely go back when we get a chance! Just an hour drive for us!

  • We waited for 40 minutes for the brunch. Place was clean and our server was super sweet. The crab cake was awesome and French toast as well as pancake were perfect.
